Montgomery has a background in clinical medicine and cardiology, with subspecialty training in heart rhythm disease. He has created a novel food interventional approach for the treatment of both acute and chronic illnesses in individuals with conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, and many other chronic health problems. As director of Montgomery Heart and Wellness, Montgomery oversees the ongoing development of a unique healthcare delivery model that integrates acute nutritional interventions with current medical and surgical treatments. This model allows for definitive disease control and reversal allowing for the reduction and elimination of the need for medications and surgeries.

Campbell is a one person institution with decades of experience in the areas of government, academia and science that has been instrumental in laying the foundation of critical information in the areas of nutritional science. Campbell was one of the lead scientists in the 1980s of the China-Oxford–Cornell study on diet and disease, set up in 1983 by Cornell University, the University of Oxford, and the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine to explore the relationship between nutrition and cancer, heart and metabolic diseases. Our Friday Event

Join Dr Baxter Montgomery and Dr T. Colin Campbell for an intimate dinner and discussion on “Resolving the Health Care Crisis” at The Rice University Faculty Club – The Cohen House.

Friday October 26th 2012 6pm – 9pm

This evening will consist of a first of a kind event, featuring two individuals from different generations who share common ground in the areas of science, nutrition and health. Drs Campbell and Montgomery will provide insights of their ground breaking work.

Both Drs. Campbell and Montgomery will share their collective insights in this intimate setting. Following welcoming remarks by Dr Montgomery, Dr. Campbell will deliver the keynote address: Resolving the Health Care Crisis. This will be followed by an open forum conversation between Campbell, Montgomery and members of the audience, moderated by mistress of ceremonies, Carolyn Campbell. Attendees will be presented with gifts of signed books at the conclusion of the program.
